I'm so embarrassed!!!!!

Today I was trying to update my reunion.com account and it said that I could check to see who in email contacts had a reunion account. I thought it would be like myspace, facebook, etc. when you import contacts and that I could choose who I wanted to send the invite to. Well little did I know that it sent one to everybody that is a contact of mine. I mean everyone. From friends, family, Pampered Chef customers, Uppercase Living customers, and then a few random people. I've been getting emails asking if me I meant to send it. The answer is NO...... I didn't. Well at least not to everyone I have email(s) for. Sorry for the random moment when you opened an email from me and saw a weird email. I really am sorry and pretty embarrassed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been tagged...have you????

I was tagged on a friend's blog (Carren). Here's how it works: For each question, look up the answer on Google image search. Then choose your favorite image from the FIRST PAGE OF RESULTS ONLY. I've tagged five people below...and I'll be watching for your posts!

I have news.....yeah:)

Dylan lost his first tooth on Tuesday, July 29th. We can't believe what a big boy he is getting to be. He wasn't happy at all as you can tell from the pic. I guess the tooth fairy needs to come........... How many of you have saved your child's tooth or teeth????

Can you believe it???

Can you believe that July has come and gone. It seems like we were just getting ready to load up into the car for our first family vacation. I feel like I need another one. The past week has kept me pretty busy.

I've been feeling like I haven't had much to post about or that anyone would want to read so I pose the question (like my fellow blogger, Paloma) what do you want to know about me or about our family. I'll answer most questions:) I just feel like I don't have much to write about at this moment. So......................

Our Little Man turned 5

Happy Birthday Dylan! Dylan turned 5 on Friday the 25th. Kalen & I can't believe how old Dylan is getting. To think that just 5 years ago this is what he looked like:

This pic was taken a little while after he was born. He ate a lot....

Dylan was admitted to the NICU (Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit) about 12 hours about he was born. We found out later that the respitorary issue he was having were possible seizures. Dylan was 10lbs 6ozs. He was the biggest baby in the NICU. We got lots of strange looks since he was so big from the other parents. Dylan spent the first week of life in the hospital. It still seems like a blur but I remember the feelings like it was yesterday....

We've come a long way and have met a ton of people that we wouldn't have otherwise since we entered the "special needs" world. We are grateful for all the love and support we receive from everyone, those with "special needs" children, those with "typical" children and those that don't have children yet. We are truly blessed!

This is Mr. D. Yes he has an IV in his head. They didn't give us any warning before we saw him like that. Not that it would have helped. Our world changed that day, but for the better. We wouldn't change anything. We have learned a lot during the past 5 years. Although there are days that we are unsure, worried and sometime feel that our world was turned upside down, we wouldn't change it. Dylan is such a sweet little boy with so much going for him. He works so hard at everything. He has helped to see appreciate the "little" things in life so much more. We LOVE you Dylan!!!!!

Our birthday day boy..... He's pretty much always happy.

We had some family and friends over to celebrate Dylan's big day with us. We had lots of fun!!!!

Our buddy Justin:)

Grandpa Faulconer and Uncle Brian

Dylan;s, awesome teacher, Shirley:) We were so glad she could come. She means a lot to us!

The kids enjoying the water in the little swimming pool. They used the slide to make it even more fun!

Pinata time!!!!! Youngest to oldest.

Dylan loved the pinata. I'm so glad I decided to do one this year.

Dylan blew out the candle on his cake. Not the traditional way, but with help. we hooked up one of his switches that can activate things to a fan. When he pushed the switch it started the fan and what happened......the fan blew out the candle. It brought tears to my eyes. He is really starting to understand cause and effect. It's awesome!!!!

So proud of himself!
MaryEllen as you can see in the background that it was pretty cool too.

Enjoying some cake!
