Book recommendations

Here's a small snippet of my book collection. I need some good book ideas. What do you suggest? ****Yes, I have the "Twlight" series, but they are on the next shelf;)****

Easter

Easter was fun this year. It was at our home. We had yummy food. I make 2 prime ribs. It was a lot of meat!!!! Brian's wife, Lori, made a good cake. We were able to spend it with my parents Richard and Cherie, my brother Brian, his wife Lori, their 3 kids, MaryEllen, Henry, Emmett. Kalen's sister, Kaci and her husband, David came as well as Kalen's brother Kyle. It was so much fun having everyone here. Brianna loved being able to color Easter eggs with me, Kalen, Uncle David and Aunt Kaci(aka Aunt Quesadilla). We just wish Grandma and Grandpa Bjurstrom would have been able to come. Due to the crazy weather we had the Easter egg hunt had to be done indoors. It was hard hiding so many eggs. It was pouring rain outside. After dinner, we all played Bowling on Wii. It was lots of fun. We really LOVE spending time with our family. We always have so much fun and lots of laughs! Here's some photos of our day.

Catching up

I can't believe how behind I am blogging. I just uploaded some of the photos off the camera and saw pics from the half marathon I did and Easter.

I did the Chico Bidwell Classic again this year. I beat my time from last year by 14 minutes so my personal best is 2:09 for 13.1 miles. That's 2 hours and 9 minutes. Kalen and I want to give my parents a HUGE thank you for watching the kids so we could be kid free for a few days. It was nice to get away, even if it was to Chico. I was hoping to run a half marathon that was here close by but I injured my foot/leg a few weeks ago during one of my training runs. So running hasn't occurred for a few weeks, but I have been filling up my exercise time with Spin, turbo kick, and weight lifting. I'm gonna do the elliptical tonight, I'm sure I'll be bored out of my mind. I absolutely LOVE the classes that my gym has at various locations.

Anyhow here's some pics from the race. Those of you that know Jon & Becky Money, your eyes aren't deceiving you, yes that's them at the beginning of the race:)

Huge savings on Sac Bee Sunday paper

***UPDATE*** I just called this afternoon(monday) and asked if I could have a two papers delivered to my home. I was told yes, but that I would get my subscription cut in half so I would only get the paper for $19.99 for 26 weeks, with 2 papers being delivered on Sundays. Still a decent deal, but I chose not to do it and keep my subscription the same.

I'm gonna call on Monday to see if I can get multiple subscriptions so I can stock up on the high value coupons that come out.
